RTC Real Time Clock DS1307 I²C Module (without cell) is a time-keeping module that maintains accurate date and time using an external backup battery (not included), ideal for microcontroller projects.
The DS1307 RTC Module is a low-power real-time clock designed to keep track of seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month, and year information. It communicates through the I²C interface, making it easy to integrate with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, STM32, and other microcontrollers.
The module includes a 32.768 kHz crystal oscillator and requires an external CR2032 backup battery (not included) to retain time during power loss. It also provides 56 bytes of non-volatile RAM for small data storage. Commonly used in clocks, data loggers, IoT systems, attendance machines, and automation projects where continuous time tracking is required.
